First Six Months Baby Essentials
I may be a seasoned mama but it’s been a LONG time since I had a newborn and a lot has changed! It’s been so much fun (and at times overwhelming) tackling the new baby world again. Social media has been so helpful and at times A LOT when tracking down all the best baby things, but I think I’ve narrowed down a pretty wonderful list of things that have worked best for little man and wanted to share with you! Whether you’re looking for you, a grand baby, friends, or baby shower…or let’s be honest we all have those Amazon moments where we need something asap. We all think we have our bases covered and then we meet our little one and everything changes! Haha! Hope this list helps alleviate any lists you’re making for yourself! Baby Bjorn Bouncer: THIS has been a most used item and even goes with us to friends and family’s houses.
Hatch Rest Baby Sound Machine: We actually own two now because we like it so much! It started out in our room and when Leo was four months old we got one for his room once we transitioned him to his crib.
Jolly Well Egg Light: It started with middle of the night pumping and then for nursing him as well as diaper changes. It’s a perfect size, portable, and super gentle light on the eyes at 2am.
Konssy Waffle Blanket: We all need a good blanket and this muted beauty is always asked about and so affordable! Just gets softer after all the washes too! I have it in the color oat.
Doona Infant Car Seat: We used this when we went to LA and it was so easy for travel! Stroller and baby seat in one! We just got a travel bag and checked it at the gate!
YogaSleep White Noise Machine: The GOAT of all travel noise makers! We take it everywhere and it’s so affordable! Plus the charge lasts a long time too!
4-Pack Toy Straps for Baby: Attaches to car seats and strollers and Leo loves! I always keep extras in the diaper bag.
KYTE BABY Printed Sleep Bag: The softest and coziest sleep sack!
EVLA'S Baby Food Maker: I’ve become obsessed with this when I don’t exclusively do the Baby Led Weaning method. I do both for little man.
Lalo The Chair Convertible 3-in-1 Wooden High Chair: I wanted something long lasting, non-toxic, and pretty for our kitchen and this was on my list long before he was born! It’s awesome! Their feeding set is great too!! I have it in two colors!
Frida Baby NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator: The best invention ever! Just own one! You won’t regret it.
Essential Oil Diffuser: I’ve used essential oils for probably ten years now and love this approach to wellness for little ones.
Humidifier: Because it works! Quiet and not bright in the night!
Boogie Micro-Mist Saline Inhaler: When baby is congested this is SO helpful!
