Apps I Use to Create Content

This is a question I have been asked over and over again throughout the years so I thought it was time to give it a permanent home on the blog. When I started my IG back in 2015 I did everything all on my own and always with iPhone apps. Many I’ve stuck with over the years because I know them like the back of my hand.

At this point, if you see a post that has any sort of cool effects or text overlays, I’ve brought my savvy fiancé on board because he speaks Photoshop fluently. Otherwise, I do everything myself and these are my favorites apps that help make it happen!

Add Background Music to Video - This is how I create every video you see of mine that is sped up or cropped. It’s also how I add my music over the top of it.

Adobe Lightroom: Photo Editor - How I add my presets and adjust all of my photos. Unless it’s a Kevin photo (those are pretty obvious cause the man is skilled!), I do everything else on here.

Photo Timer+ - If I ever snap my own pics using my iPhone this is beyond handy and doesn’t kill the quality like a lot of timer apps do!

Tezza - How I add filters to videos to keep a cohesive feel.

Facetune 2 - A much simpler version of Photoshop to retouch photos.

Vont - Before I had Kevin edit my videos with overlay (he uses Photoshop on his computer) I used to do my own and used this app.

Phonto - What I use to add text over images (again before Kevin took over and now uses Photoshop).

Canva - What I use to make IG stories have a more professional feel.

PicCollage- How I make collages for LikeToKnowIt - speaking of LTK, if you don’t follow me there, You should! It’s where I share links to things I wear and use on IG Stories!

And that’s all she wrote! Kinda seems like a long list just to edit photos and videos, ha, but each one serves a slightly different function. They're all so helpful though, especially if you need graphics and want your stuff to look more professional without having to pay someone!
